2. What Abomate is not
- Not a service for consumers. Sign-up requires a business activity.
- Not a cancellation service. Abomate reminds of deadlines but does not cancel contracts on behalf of customers.
- Not a software reseller. Abomate does not sell or broker licenses from other vendors.
- Not an inventory tool. Abomate installs no agents on devices and does not detect installed software automatically.

What is Abomate?
Abomate is web-based software (SaaS) from Germany that lets businesses manage software licenses, subscriptions and contracts in one place. Costs, terms and notice periods are kept together, and deadlines are sent as email reminders.
Who is Abomate for?
For companies, freelancers and agencies with many software subscriptions and contracts – typically IT managers, purchasing, accounting and management of small and medium-sized businesses. Sign-up is only available to business customers.
How much does Abomate cost?
There is a permanently free Free plan (5 contracts, 1 user). Paid plans cost €26 (Starter), €52 (Business) and €132 (Pro) per month plus VAT. With annual billing the price drops by around 25% to the equivalent of €19, €39 and €99 per month.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Starter, Business and Pro can be tested free of charge for 14 days, without a credit card. There is also the free-forever Free plan.
Where is the data stored?
On servers of the hosting provider Hetzner in Germany. Every customer gets a separate database. Processing complies with the GDPR.
Can Abomate capture contracts automatically?
Yes, from the Business plan: contract PDFs are read by AI, invoices can be forwarded to a personal import address by email, and bank sync detects recurring payments from a business bank account or PayPal account.
Does Abomate cancel contracts for me?
No. Abomate reminds you of notice periods and renewals in time; the cancellation itself is done by the customer with the respective vendor.
Is there an API?
Yes, in the Pro plan: a REST API (version 1) with token authentication and a Zapier integration.
